CONSULTANT, NOT A COACH
The most unique part of the application process for performing arts programs is the audition, which depending on the program can require monologues, vocal selections, dance calls, and interviews. Many students already have extensive training and private teachers. For those students who want help in selecting audition material and audition preparation, there are private coaches who provide these services. Drama Free College Consulting does not offer this service but we can provide you with direction in selecting a coach. We can also refer experts who can offer essay writing guidance for the essay portions of the application.
About us
Drama Free College Consulting is the result of its founder, Heidi Litman, surviving the drama of her own two daughters' journeys to pursue the performing arts in college. After going through the process herself, Heidi realized that only someone who had experienced the process could relate to someone else who is going through it! As an attorney and professional researcher, Heidi used her research and organizational skills to become an expert on the wide range of programs available at the college level to performing arts students and to develop the best methods to stay on top of the multi-step application and audition process. Although this process is crazy, Drama Free College Consulting adds method to the madness!
